Joe Davis (Far Out label founder) created the Monster Disco Orchestra alongside long-time Far Out producers David
Brinkworth) and Daniel “Venom” Maunick.
In 2008, they put together some of Far Out’s best musicians from Rio in the studio to make a record that could mix cultures, generations, languages and musical ideas, yet be a homage to the music they all love, Brazilian music, soul and disco.
